 “Green packaging” is a hot topic among consumer
products companies, and DMI has responded to our customers’ needs
with GeoPack. GeoPack is our new line of environmentally-focused
packaging that utilizes a corn-based PLA film. This film
is natural, renewable, and is a sustainable alternative to
petroleum-based film stock. DMI StretchCards can be marketed
as “green” and promoted via public relations
as being 100% “Earth-friendly” because the printed
board is made from recycled material and is bio-degradable,
while the corn-based film is compostable.
